A few months ago, I wrote a piece for the amazing site, Always 5 Star, about Myrtle Creek which you can read here. I write about all the details and must-see things when you visit this cute, quaint botanical garden located in Fallbrook, California so be sure to click the link and get all of the details.
I recently visited and wanted to share my latest photos. Its such a neat place and they have their fall decorations out which really got me into the fall spirit! I highly recommend setting aside a few hours to roam around, feed the goats, have a snack at Cafe Bloom.
Be sure to bring your camera because there are a ton of Instagram worthy pics to take. If you are on Instagram, follow me here!
When I stopped by last week, the weather was perfect- maybe a little hot. Sun was shining, the air was warm, it wasn’t busy and I felt at ease walking around and taking photos of things that caught my eye. I go to Myrtle Creek every few months to check out what’s new and take nature pics.
Nothing says FALL more than pumpkins!
Look around, there are so many spots to take pics!
I love the goats! They are so adorable.
If you love taking photos as I do, you will enjoy this place so much. From succulents to trees and everything in between, you will find tons of photo opportunities.
Myrtle Creek is located approximately one hour (probably a little more) from downtown San Diego, about one and a half hours from Palm Springs. You can easily make a day out of visiting Myrtle Creek, then drive up the freeway for twenty minutes and land in Temecula where there are lots of gorgeous wineries to see as well as Old Town, a little shopping district.
