Going from blonde to deep brunette like Nicole Richie requires a lot of conditioning and going brunette to blonde like Mischa Barton demands frequent deep moisturizing!
Color treated hair needs a lot of TLC which is what you get from Dr. Miracle’s and Macadamia Natural Oil products.
It’s my age old lament, my hair is dry- my hair is frizzy- I need a hair cut. Yesterday I was home so I took advantage of my time alone in the house to apply a deep conditioning treatment complete with a little shower cap over it, allowing the conditioner to seep into my thirsty locks. And it helped because today my hair looks better. I KNOW if I went for hair cuts more often and professional color, my tresses would look 100% better but I don’t like taking the time. So I live with dry hair and depend on products to help me. Fun fact: I was just, not ten minutes ago, watching You Tube clips of how to cut your own hair.
Back to dry hair! Dr. Miracle’s offers a ton of products. These are geared towards African American women but they work wonders for me and I think they are worth a look. The products are reasonable- you can find them in Sally Beauty etc. There is an entire line and I’ve tried several products like the above Intensive Healing Oil which is amazing and you only need a TINY BIT of it. I’m also a fan of the deep conditioner. And I have to say that Dr. Miracle’s has awesome customer service. Click here for much more.
When I lived in Hawaii, I used to frequently indulge in macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup and Kona coffee. It was pure heaven. But now is really not the time to discuss my past eating habits, I want to introduce you to Macadamia Natural Oil. I just can’t think of macadamias without thinking of Hawaii. But I digress!
This line of hair products combines Macadamia nuts and Argon oil to deliver many benefits to your hair. The nut oil actually mimics the fatty acids our own bodies naturally make. Here’s the information you need- “Macadamia Oil: Very rich in essential fatty acids, macadamia oil has the distinctive feature of resembling sebum. This replication of the natural oils our scalp produces for protection make it an ideal enriching & replenishing agent with rapid absorption. Argan Oil: The oil is rich in Omega 9, Linoleic, Oleic, and unsaturated fatty acids – shown to be very beneficial in improving hair strength and health.”
I like- and use- the conditioners, but what I find most nifty is the comb. A wide toothed comb that distributes macadamia nut oil through your hair as you use it.
Between the fabulous Dr. Miracle’s and the nutrient rich Macadamia Natural Oil products, my brittle hair should be completely remedied! Stay tuned…
