Nu Evolution Cosmetics

Words cannot express how excited I was to try Nu Evolution cosmetics. As you might know, there is a bit of a lack in natural, green, clean cosmetics that deliver beautiful colors and are long lasting. Just peek into the aisle of any store like Target or Sephora and see how many truly natural beauty products there are available.

This is why I am so thrilled to introduce you to Nu Evolution. The women behind the brand, Sandra and Nadine, are passionate about living a holistic lifestyle and that carries into this gorgeously created makeup.

Like myself, they were shocked when they discovered the toxins in conventional cosmetics (and hair care…and skin care) which can cause serious health issues. With not a ton available in natural beauty, they set out to create a fully clean line of makeup that is clean, green, non toxic and really truly gives amazing results.

Nu Evolution cosmetics are housed in pretty, sleek, modern compacts and tubes.  I tried a lipcolor that impresses me with the intense pigment and long lasting color- its a vivid pink called Delish. This mid tone pink has a little coral to it and can easily be toned down by using a lip gloss or applied at full throttle!

I also dabbed a bit on my cheeks and the color stayed in place all day and it added a natural flush to my face. Double duty!

Finding a great mascara is tough enough but to find one that’s clean is nearly impossible. I admit, I kept my expectations low but Nu Evolution blew me away. Not only does this mascara impart very good color but lashes were longer and thicker ALL DAY! No smudging or fading. I give this one an A+.

I also tried the foundation which is smooth and blendable, stayed in place all day long too. I used the Honest Beauty Primer under it and this combination worked well, then I used a little Josh Rosebrook Nutrient Day Cream which was a winning combo and lastly, I tried it with a tiny bit of Josh Rosebrook’s Herbal Infusion oil which also provided a nice moisturized canvas for the foundation.

The liquid foundation comes in eight colors. There are four loose powder foundations which again, impart really nice color that is not heavy or cakey.

Nu Evolution offers six pressed foundation compacts which I did not try but have no doubt its outstanding. There are also three blushes, seven lipsticks and sixteen glosses– this will be my next purchase.

There are ten eye shadows in this collection too and four shades of Camouflage Cream which cover up zits and dark circles with excellent coverage.

Wow. I was left wanting more more more from Nu Evolution, its that good. Prepare to  be impressed. Find more here.

  1. The coverage is actually great- not too heavy but heavy enough to cover imperfections! You will love it. I use a little of Josh Rosebrook’s Herbal Infusion Oil as a base and it works wonders!
