Get her look: Carmen Ejogo

I am not familiar with this actress, Carmen Ejogo, but she is gorgeous and she is starring in the new Alex Cross film which also stars Tyler Perry. I saw the preview and thought that was Tyler in the title role  but then I assumed he only did those Madea movies. I was wrong. Its him.

Anyway, we are not here to discuss Tyler Perry. Look at Carmen’s amazing makeup in the above photo. Its beyond perfect. The cat’s eye is complimented by the hot pink lipstick and I give it all an A+!

Makeup artist Makeup Artist Mai Quynh tells me how she got the look using products from mark.

“I started by applying mark Calm & Composed Super-Soothing Moisturizer and mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer all over Carmen’s skin to create a strong, moisturized canvas.

Next, I applied mark Min-A-Real Cream-To-Powder Foundation with Mineral Pigments in Medium 8 using the mark Foundation Brush. Then, I touched up any imperfections by dabbing mark Good Riddance Hook up Concealer in Medium/Deep under her eyes and around her nose and mouth. I set her foundation with mark Matte-Nificent Oil Absorbing Powder in Medium.”

“I dusted mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Bronze to Carmen’s forehead, cheeks, chin and nose using the mark Angled Contour Face Brush. Then, I applied mark Just Blushing Powder Blush in Cameo to the apples of her cheeks using the mark Blush + Bronzer Brush for a radiant glow.”

“I applied mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Moss to Carmen’s eyelids, from her lash line to her crease, using the mark All Over Eye Shadow Brush. Then, I applied mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Tiki to the outer creases of her eyes using the mark Angled Contour Eye Shadow Brush. Next, I lined mark Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage (black shade) along her top lash lines using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. I drew the black liner along her top lashes and winged out the end for a subtle cat eye effect. I finished by applying two coats of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black to Carmen’s upper lashes.”

“For Carmen’s lips, I applied mark Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon in Peony to complete the glowing look.”
