Before I knew that clogs were going to be “In” this season, I wanted a pair, specifically a pair with a buckle. I have an old pair of Candies clogs that are chunky and big and bulky but these new clogs are more refined. You can wear them with jeans, a skirt, maybe even shorts. I’ve been dreaming about owning a pair. I love the look. I daydream about them. I’d wear them with flared jeans and a patterned shirt, a sort of hippie look.
But nothing like having some bills to stand in the way between the object of your desire and reality! Swedish Hasbeens were on my mind (pricey- over $200 a pair!) until I saw the Jeffrey Campbell Kathleen tan leather wooden clog to the left ($135). I love the buckle, the covered toe, the low heel. My poor lower back suffers when I stand in heels so I mostly wear flat shoes but this wooden heel looks sturdy enough to give me support, comfortable enough to stroll around town without my feet aching or my lower back giving out.
