Products I’m Using Now

I’m excited to share this oil with you, Soft Core: Rejuvenating Glacial Oil from vbeaute. You will want to know that this product is Paraben-Free, Fragrance-Free, and the brand does not test on animals which is good news!

The Rejuvenating Glacial Oil gives the skin a big boost hydration and moisture thanks a blend that includes the following ingredients:

Olive-derived Squalane,  one of my favorite ingredients that make skin visibly softer. Everything I have tried with squalane is amazing for skin’s texture. It makes my complexion feel like velvet!

Alpine rose, a Swiss flowering plant from the Alps protects against environmental stress.

Camellia oil is another favorite ingredient of mine which is found in this oil. Camellia oil contains vitamins A, B, D and E, plus naturally occurring antioxidants and it’s well known for softening both the skin and hair.  Find a complete list of ingredients here.

I love this oil because, though it is very nourishing, it absorbs quickly into the skin so you can use it in the morning before you apply makeup or in the evening either by itself or with other products. It also helps to balance skin’s natural oils thanks to that squalene I mentioned. With cold weather right around the corner, this is an excellent product to keep on hand for skin that tends to get dry due to weather.

On my never-ending quest to find products to smooth this frizzy hair, I’ve been putting the Niucoco Renewing Hair Serum to the test. It is free from sulfates, phthalates, gluten, parabens and is 100% vegan. It’s awesome for all hair but especially dry, color treated hair that needs a little TLC.

The serum is made from cold pressed, extra virgin coconut oil, guava fruit extract, rice protein and vitamin E. Can  be used on wet or dry hair but I use it on dry hair after blow drying but before using the curling iron, to smooth any dry hair so my hair is soft and silky.  The texture is very light and won’t weigh hair down. I use only a few drops, emulsify between hands and apply.

I can’t wait to try other products from this brand such as their Hydrating shampoo and a Smoothing conditioner. Learn more here.

Also loving the Vellabox which is a candle subscription box. You can choose from three different boxes at $10 (The Standard),$20 (The Aficionado), $30 (The Luxe) a month and the candles that are sent are high quality.

Here’s what you need to know:

Here at Vellabox, our mission is to curate the absolute best seasonal selection of all-natural candles. When we discover that perfect candle, we feel truly compelled to share it with you. It’s our promise to continue to deliver them to your door month after month. You’ll be thrilled with any option you choose. The time has come to light up your life with Vellabox.

If you’re a subscriber of the The Standard box, you will receive one candle (approximately 4 ounces) each month. If you are a subscriber of the The Aficionado box, you will receive one candle (approximately 8 ounces) each month. If you are a subscriber of the The Luxe box, you will receive two candles (totaling approximately 12 ounces) each month. The candles are hand-picked by our Vellabox Candle Curator and are always all-natural, non-toxic, and clean burning.

Did you get that? Non-toxic, clean burning and all-natural! The last thing you want is to be filling your home with the scent of a toxic candle. The curator of the candles is picky when it comes to what is chosen, finding soy, coconut or vegetable based waxes and when possible, “we look for candles scented with 100% essential oils, but will allow for phthalate-free fragrances.”

I love a really great (non-toxic) candle, there’s something so wonderful about burning a candle that I associate with the fall and winter months. I just moved into my new house and have been burning the above candle non-stop- in other words, I love it and it smells wonderful! You can check out Vellabox by going here.
