R.L. Linden & Co. Handcrafted Skincare

I had been hearing a lot about R. L. Linden & Co and knew I had to investigate.  Anytime the green beauty community mentions a certain brand over and over, I know its worth looking into because the green beauties are a tough bunch. (FYI, other brands that are universally loved include Josh Rosebrook, Osmia Organics, May Lindstrom, Sequoia Beauty just to  name a few!)

This brand is made up of two friends, Robin and Lynn. This  skincare is  fabulous.  The products that I tried were very gentle and  soothing to the skin. They use “pure, plant-based, organic ingredients that you can easily pronounce, in as close to their whole natural state as possible.”

Let’s take a peek at what I tried:

The Thousand Petals Beautifying Mist smells so good and I’ve been using it as a treat after my shower.  This spray is created from Neroli, Honeysuckle, Rose, plus extracts of Rose and Calendula,  and other flower extracts. When you use ingredients from Mother Nature, you cannot go wrong. I love this under my serum/oil. I feel as though my face glows and is properly nurtured. There’s something about the scent of this product that makes me want it in perfume oil form…its addicting.

Next I tested the makeup remover, For Your Eyes Only.  I spread this light oil all over my face, do a light body brushing then get in the shower and wash it off with a cloth. It contains jojoba and fractionated coconut oil so you are moisturizing your face as you wash.

Close to Me is a deodorant spray, again it offers a wonderful and subtle scent. Its a delightful blend of bergamot, rose geranium, and bourbon vanilla. I admit…I haven’t used it so much as a deodorant as I have a body spray! I’m happy with the idea of a  spray deodorant, most of them are pots and sticks! Great idea!

I will probably never go back to a conventional moisturizer again, especially when there’s products like Time After Time.  This is a blend of herbs, meadowfoam seed, tamanu, olive, squalene, and rosehip. It smells great, yes but it is so hydrating that you only need a few dots warmed in your palms and pressed into your skin for the full effect to take place. Its a real winner!

The Bee Charmer, oh how I adore this too.  Cacao nibs and poppy seeds lightly exfoliate while raw honey, white clay, and chocolate (!) cleanse. I kind of want to taste it. I massaged into my face and let it sit for a few minutes then washed it off. Instantly radiant. I love a light exfoliation and this is perfect. I used it sparingly, just enough to cover my face in a thin layer.

The pink glossy balm called La Balmba Healing Rose Balm is what I use on my lips when I need some TLC. Check out the clean, green ingredients: Organic Coconut Oil, Candelila Wax, Coldpressed Meadowfoam Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil Infused with Wildcrafted Alkanet Root, Cold Pressed Avocado Oil, Castor Oil and Therapeautic Grade Essentials of Bulgarian Rose and Vanilla Bourbon.  Vanilla Bourbon? Yes please!

There’s also a lovely subtle scent called Ironwood No. 1. Its a nice blend of oils in a base of organic jojoba. Its ideal for the person who doesn’t want to wear a strong  perfume, rather a little hint of neutral fragrance.

Last but not least, I have to mention the gorgeous leather headbands here!  Crafted for R.L. Linden, its such a cool little pop in your hair!

Please do yourself a favor and try R.L. Linden & Co!
