Review: Mineral Fusion

Since becoming a natural, green beauty blogger, its really important to me to find the best non- toxic products available, put them to the test and share with you!I’ve looked high and low and have discovered amazing brands that are handmade with the best that nature has to offer. These products benefit the skin in numerous ways and my body has never been so soft, my skin so smooth.

Color cosmetics is a whole other deal. Clean cosmetics are not as easy to find! I have been turned on to mineral makeup and my latest discovery is Mineral Fusion. I like mineral makeup because it usually does not contain toxins or chemical synthetics, is gluten free and dont contain parabens and most often isn’t tested on animals. Bonus! Minerals also offer natural UV protection.

Mineral Fusion is free from the ingredients you want to stay away from such as  parabens, artificial colors, fragrances, gluten, talc, and phthalates. They are cruely free too!

I was really impressed with the Mineral Fusion Pressed Powder Foundation. I love power for mattifying during the day but don’t usually use powder foundation because it tends to settle in pores and fine lines. Not this one! I used a big brush to apply this in a swirling motion over my face and my skin instantly looked smooth and clear. This foundation contains a host of nutrients to give your skin a boost.

The Mattifying Oil Control Moisturizer is a must have for those of us who battle oily skin. Mine has gotten much better with age but I would have loved this so much in my teens and early twenties. I still have a little oily issue in the T-zone so I need this to help. This moisturizer controls excess oil and offers beneficial ingredients to soothe and treat skin.

The Lipstick is another winner! Its nicely pigmented, contains a bunch of anti-oxidants such as Pomegranate, Red Tea and White Tea plus Vitamins C and E. I thought it lasted quite a long time too! Its available in several flattering shades.

I love a good eyeliner, I think its a must for us fair skinned, light eyed girls. I tested Mineral Fusions liner in Black and lined my upper lashes with success. This eye pencil doesn’t flake, its soft to apply and has a good pigment. Plus its gentle to my sensitive eyes!

I was thrilled with the Nail Polish from this brand! Its just the right consistency and texture- smooth, not lumpy or goopy, rich in color and quick drying. Plus its free from formaldehyde, toluene, camphor and dibutyl phthalate! Mineral Fusion nail polishes come in a wide variety of colors too. The sky’s the limit!

I would love to try more from this brand, I was so happy with what I tested. Mineral Fusion can be found online and in stores using their Store Finder. I’ve got my eye on the lipglosses  next!
