I admit it…I dislike cardio workouts. I’ve been making myself do a HIIT (high intensity interval training) once or twice a week and I do not enjoy it. (I like the variety of workouts from Fitness Blender here)
I really enjoy yoga and light weight lifting, I don’t mind pilates or barre exercises which I look up on YouTube and follow along with in the privacy of my own home.
But the easiest and most effective workout that I have been doing since I was a teenager is walking! You can do it anywhere and get your heart rate up, it can be a nice way to meditate and enjoy the outdoors and its beneficial in many ways. Check out this infographic:
If you don’t do anything else in terms of working out, try to find time to simply walk!
