Review: Zen Society

I was thrilled to find Zen Society! This is the type of skin care that makes me very happy. Kaitlyn Lockman is the founder of this company,  a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner (AADP) specializing in Master Herbology. This is exactly the kind of person you want behind your skin care. The products are 100% natural and effective, cruelty free, vegan. They contain nothing toxic and are preservative free.

Let’s take a closer look!

The Organic Makeup Remover contains sweet Almond Oil and Hemp Seed oil. I love this because its eco-friendly, green and clean. I feel like the lovely combination of oils give my eye area an extra dose of moisture which it needs. It cleans without stripping the skin’s natural oils. Does not burn my eyes. I admit it- I used this all over my face to remove everything. My skin was really soft!

Elderberry Toner smells so good. I’m just learning about how beneficial elderberries are. Check this out-this product is made from  Lavender Water, which comes from the finest lavender fields in Bulgaria, and Witch Hazel, which is a natural astringent that shrinks the pores and reduces blackheads and pimples. Essential oils are used that are rich in vitamin A, B, C, D and E. Vitamins A, C and E all are anti-oxidants that help reduce free radicals (from sun damage and environmental toxins) associated with premature aging. Vitamin C plays a role in stabilizing collagen to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Both Vitamins E and B improve moisture on the skin for increased elasticity and smoothness.

I dab this toner all over my face when I get out of the shower. If I have excess, I put it on my neck and chest too. You are really feeding your face something nutritious with this product. I’d like this in tea form so I can drink it.

Replenishing Macadamia Nut Oil will nourish your skin, prevent stretch marks, and so much more. Again, I love these oils because they come directly from nature and work so well. You won’t want to use anything else.  The ingredients of this are a blend of certified organic oils so you can use it with a clear conscience.  I also use this on my nail beds and cuticles.

The Vegan Lip Balm goes on my lips throughout the day. When I’m home, I don’t wear lipstick or lipgloss. I reach for a lip balm like this one. It has a minty essence and makes my lips feel super hydrated and soft. They also have a nice shine! If you are not one to wear lipstick, I highly recommend this.

I also got a sample of the Tea Tree Facial cleanser which is so refreshing. You might know that Tea Tree oil is the perfect antidote to kill bacteria and is effective in helping to clear acne.

I give this brand two thumbs up and an A+. Zen Society was among the first to send me products when I announced I was looking for natural skincare and makeup which I wholeheartedly appreciate.  Kaitlyn has created this affordable line that is perfect in its commitment to using natural and organic, cruelty free products! Please go here to look around!
