Review: Aroma M Camellia Face & Hair Oils

I just love oils! Oils for my body, face, hair, cuticles. Its so versatile. In my attempt to improve my frizzy, dry, lackluster locks, I discovered Aroma M.

In Japanese culture, Camellia oil is combed through the Geisha’s hair to protect and nourish it. This reminds me of Memoirs of a Geisha, a great novel that is a must- read if you haven’t already read it.

I found this very interesting:

The namesake of our Geisha Hair Oil, Camellia oil has been the traditional beneficial beauty treatment for hair in Japan used for centuries for its effective properties as a hair nourisher and conditioner. This tradition is responsible for the legendary beauty of the hairstyles of geishas and samurais of bygone times.

Camellia oil softens, nourishes and restores health and sheen to hair damaged by heat, colorants and perms. It prevents breakage and split ends, softens scalp and relives itchiness due to dryness, allergies or dandruff.

The Hair Oil contains organic Camellia, Golden Argan and Golden Jojoba Oils with the addition of organic essential oils of Rosemary and Moroccan Tuberose. The result is a very light oil that does not weigh hair down. I loved this oil, I received a sample of it and used it up quickly. Its really fantastic. You only need a few drops of this light oil to work its magic and soften your locks.

The Face Oil is equally as wonderous! It is a masterful blend seven beneficial emollient organic oils: Camellia, Carrot Seed, Jojoba, Apricot Kernel, Evening Primrose, Argan, and Vitamin E. The pretty scent comes from the essential oils derived from flowers and other botanicals Jasmine, Geranium, Frankincense and Neroli.

The oil will not clog your pores, it refreshes and nourishes all skin types. I tend to have combination skin that is at once aging, oily, “normal” with some fine lines, and can look sallow if I dont get enough sleep. Face oils like this one combat all of my problems and leave skin looking bright and feeling soft. I even dab it around my eye area.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either of these to you as they are organic and natural, good for skin and hair and honestly, quite luxurious! You can find out more by going to Aroma M.
