Do you use lavender in your home? Its a very clean, relaxing scent that has multiple health benefits. I use in on pimples, I dab some drops on a warm washcloth to cleanse my face, I dot it on my wrists for relaxtion, I mist Lavender spray all over my sheets before I get into bed.
If you are unfamiliar with it, let me share some benefits of this beautiful purple flower: Lavender’s calming aroma helps with migraines, headaches, anxiety, depression, and nervous tension. It induces sleep and often helps people with insomnia. You can add to your shampoo and conditioner to help with flakes/dandruff.
It is used in massage for pain relief in muscles. Lavender oil can be used in a vaporizer to help with colds, congestion, respiratory ailments. Lavender oil is used to repel mosquitoes and moths. Its an antiseptic and antifugal which speeds up healing (thats why I put it on pimples).
When I got the opportunity to try Carol’s Daughter Lavender & Vanilla products, I jumped at the chance! I tried everything last night and was completely impressed and relaxed. The scent is so intoxicating and relaxing, its ideal for a warm shower at the end of the day to help relaxation. I love to take a body brush and scrub away, the Cleansing Scrub is girtty enough to feel like you are sloughing off dead skin but still gentle. Skin is clean, soft and glowing.
I followed that up with the ultra skin softening Shea Souffle. It contains Coconut & Grapeseed Oils plus Shea & Cocoa Butters, all which hydrate skin. The lavender scent that’s left behind on the skin is so delicious, I want to constantly reapply it.
The Dry Oil is one of my favorite products of all time. Its absorbed quickly, and skin has a glow after you spray it. If you really want to get fancy, you can spray it while skin is still damp from a shower or bath, then rub into skin and follow up with the Shea Souffle. Then lightly mist your sheets with a lavender mist (a few drops of lavender oil in a spray bottle of water) and get into bed for a restful and relaxing night!
