Two big beauty gripes for me- and maybe you too- is my frizzalicious hair and somewhat oily skin. THANK goodness that my skin managed to even itself out because as a teenager I felt like I had the world’s greasiest skin and I hated it! Because of heat styling and coloring, my hair is dry and I am always on the lookout for a good hair product that will give it moisture without weighing it down. I use a few different products, rotating them depending on my mood. There’s the line of Frizz Ease that I like, hair serums from L’Oreal, and Pureology and a variety of hair products from Rene Furterer and Klorane. Now I can add a new one into my routine- Kitoko.

This line of advanced hair therapy offers an oil that I highly recommend called Kitoko Oil Treatment. It contains karite oil, argan oil,  a UV filter and vitamins A and E. For those with fine, thinner hair, you will like the fact this lightweight oil won’t make hair limp or oily. Its helpful taming any frizz, nourishes brittle hair and is safe for color treated hair. You don’t need much, I shake out just a few drops into my palm, rub hands together and apply to the lower half of my hair. Sometimes I use a little mousse or something for volume but other than that, I don’t need anything else! My hair is softer and smoother.

And now, onto a miracle product for oily skin! Its the BECCA Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector. If you are plagued by a pesky T-zone that starts shining like a beacon mid-day then give this primer a whirl.

Silicone-free, this minimizers pores and preps skin for foundation by creating a smooth canvas. I noticed that my face is shine-free all day and you don’t need to use a whole lot of it to get the desired look. I dot this on my nose and forehead then blend and apply foundation.
