Love your curls with jessicurl!

I’m in hair heaven. I’ve been hearing about Jessicurl products from friends but never had a chance to try them before. Jessicurl sent me out two fabulous lines to try, one for thicker, drier curly hair that needs moisture (The Rich and Radiant Collection), and one for fine, wavy and curly hair that gets weighted down easily. I’m sort of in between the lines but I wanted to try everything. All the products were designed by Jess herself, who built her business after hating her hair and having problems finding products that didn’t strip her hair or leave it flat from all the oils and waxes. After a lot of trial and error and experimenting, she created Jessicurl in 2002.

What I love is that each set of products came with clear, easy to follow directions about what product would be best for me, how and when to use them, and why. It even came with helpful tips, like why you shouldn’t scrunch out any crunch from products until your hair is bone dry. (You don’t want frizz, do you?)

I absolutely loved everything I tried, which is unusual for a picky person like me and I honestly can’t tell you which line I liked better. First, I tried the Light and Luminous Collection. The Gentle Lather Shampoo and Aloeba Daily Conditioner smell great, glide on, and left my hair soft and shiny. What I really loved  was the Celebration spray which encouraged curl and the ringlet-reviving Confident Coils for styling. My hair never looked so bouncy! I next tried the Rich and Radiant Collection. The Hair Cleansing Cream and Too Shea Extra Moisturizing Conditioner were also fabulous. What really gave my curls a whirl, though, was the Rockin’ Ringlets Styling potion.

Jessicurl says, “You have the right to remain curly.” And with her curl-amazing products, it’s more than a right–it’s a delight. Go here to learn more!
